Kansas Landscape Arboretum

The Kansas Landscape Arboretum, the largest in the state, serves as an outdoor classroom and living collection of trees and shrubs suited to Kansas’ unique climate. Located just south of Wakefield, this 193-acre site features native and non-native species, educational trails, and diverse habitats supporting both plant and wildlife study. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Arboretum relies entirely on donations and memberships to maintain trails, care for trees, and expand its educational offerings.

Your support helps preserve and develop this natural resource, ensuring future generations can explore its woodland, wildflower, and meadow trails while learning about Kansas’ rich botanical landscape. Donations contribute directly to operating costs, planting initiatives, and educational signage—keeping this community gem open year-round and free to the public.
