Clay County Long Term Recovery Fund
The Clay County Long-Term Recovery Fund supports nonprofit organizations and public agencies that provide essential services to survivors of local disasters. These services include emergency food distribution, shelter and housing, emotional and spiritual care, economic assistance, education, and healthcare. The fund helps these organizations expand their capacity to meet our community's evolving needs during immediate and extended recovery periods.
Established during the COVID-19 pandemic, the fund has already contributed to local efforts such as family support through the Lighthouse and school hydration improvements with USD 379. It remains a vital resource to ensure Clay County is prepared to respond effectively to future disasters.
